Who's the most beautiful woman in the world? That's a tough question. Pressed for a answer I'd have to ask you to look at this drawing of the actress Elizabeth Taylor. She was incredibly beautiful but for me her character cannot be overlooked. She had been through the mill and still has class in my opinion. Talking to people who know me and my work this remains a favourite. I must emphasise this is a drawing from a photograph and not the photograph.		The singer Stevie Nicks would be my next portrait. One photo from an early Fleetwood Mac concert programme particularly caught my eye. She was wearing a velvet hat and looking every inch the hippy. With pencil on cartridge paper I gave it a shot. At the time I was looking at a lot of drawings by the early Italian renaissance artists and this definitely effected the outcome. Click the images
