 Compared
to some of my earlier pictures this portrait of Guy started off
very well. Some can take a while to develop and patience is needed.
It helped that I had known Guy for well over twenty years. For me
he really was one of life's characters and the challenge was to
capture that character; that charisma. I hope I went some way to
achieving that with this picture.

Life
! The Face of Portr8s
 This
picture may look familiar to you. She features
in the banner and homepage designs. I can now show her on her own
page. I loved drawing this picture. For me it pays homeage to the
work of the Victorian artist Edward Burne Jones who's work inspires
me more than any artist. The portrait is simply called 'Life'
for deeply personal reasons.
