Detail of the 'Mystery Man'

The life and mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe combine to make the 'legend'. Who's the mystery man whose face we can't see? He could represent a number of men in Marilyn's life. He could be the father that Norma Jeane as a little girl idolised but seldom if ever met. He could be from 'the mob' who took a keen interest in the private life of Marilyn Monroe as she had links to high places. He could be working for the government - again, links to high places.

Then again, if I gave him a name I might just call him 'Shame'. He can't show his face. He represents every man who knows he let Marilyn down. I'll leave you to decide who you think he is...
