The Dancer 2009 by Paul Noonan This picture is dedicated to my dancer friend Dawn Eileen Barnett Pencil on board This picture tested me all the way. To be able to draw this any way near the way I wanted to I would have to gather everything I had learned when drawing 'The Siren'. There are several differences between the two pictures. The obvious one being that this required the tricky drawing of drapery ! The most significant difference for me is that the Siren was largely down to Bouguereau and I cannot take full credit for it. The Dancer however, is a 'Noonan' and I'm proud to be able to say that. |
