 Sadly
no longer online, a website based on London's history through it's
pubs provided a great opportunity to push my developing skills in
digital graphic design. I found the subject fascinating. For example,
one pub on the site dates back to the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
It serves beer today, just as it did four hundred years ago! I designed
all the graphics and built the whole site. Ten years of research by
the site owner provided the content, while I designed the 'look'.

Freestyle skiing
is spectacular with a considerable degree of danger. Bearing this
in mind I came up with this design for the first page. One particular
photo of Martin doing an aerial manoeuvre was used to create the
central figure |
