A Portrait in Progress This particular drawing I started working on was only supposed to be a preliminary drawing. Once I was satisfied with the layout, proportions etc I would have transferred it on to card and worked in the detail. However, the drawing took on a life of it's own. The two photos show just two of the early stages in it's development. You might recognise her. She features in the Portr8s opening pages, behind me on the easel in the Introduction page and in the page banner design. The completed portrait can now be seen on Drawings Page 7.
