This picture shows a completely different shading technique to any other picture on the website. I experimented by shading in a circular motion. Surprisingly it seems to work quite well. Today I'd almost certainly use cross hatching of the pencil strokes. Having said that I'd be very happy if I coud draw the hair as well as this again. I think I caught the texture and sheen just right.

If I could describe Rita Hayworth's hair the word luxuriant seems to come to mind.
